Of course he is going to slide a little, this is the first year in which people started to point out his age more and more as his play declined. The mere fact that he is within a 10 point margin shows the respect other players have for him and his skills, no matter how much on the decline.

Ravage!!!

The fact that he got beat for two LONG TDs on national TV during the playoffs, alone, would make Bailey drop. I'm sure that the QB for Baltimore rises. It's always going to be what people remember for the most recent events. THIS season is what they are ranking the players on, not careers.

I'd put Champ in the top 80, but not at 53.

He may have lost a step, but he's still fast. He had 4.28 speed coming out of college. I'll bet he's still in the low 4.4 range.

I would say 4.80-5.00. But when you're as good as Champ you can make up for speed with smarts and if you watched the episode you saw how people talked about how good his hips are.

Yeah, he's faster than that...

You think? I think 4.80 is probably pretty close to true

He's 35, not 60.

Darrell Green was still the fastest man in the league at 40.

4.8 ha!

Champ could run in the 4.5s barefoot.

I hope he plays like a top 50 performer this season.
His responsabilities will most likely change this year.
he will not be left alone 1 on 1 with the opponents top speed receiver, he will get help over the top.
I hope to see champ more versatile and more involved, he will see more balls.

More balls toward Champ = more INTs. Bring it.

Dude.. I'm a 40 yr old white guy and I can still run a 4.8-5.0. Champ is faster than that. 4.6 would be a slow day for him.

I'm pretty sure some of the OL being drafted t his year ran 5.0. If you don't think Champ is faster than a 300lb OL, then its time for him to sit on the sidelines.

I'm pretty sure Champ's at the 4.5 range. Honestly it's not so much about the speed anymore. It still matters, but now we're seeing younger players with incredible acceleration. A.J. Green typically runs a 4.5, albeit he HAS hit 4.4, but how quickly he gets to that 4.4 is stupid. Julio Jones is like a 4.3 guy and his acceleration is even better. I think this coupled with the rules is really what hurts CB's. Not straight line speed.

So yeah, if Champ is running a 5.0, Ravage you're the next man up!

Hah.. this reminds me.

I was teamed up with some guys playing in the Missouri state games.... flag football.

I was playing corner for them and I lined up, bump-n-run cover 1 with a guy that was probably 5 inches taller and THICk. This dude played some college ball somewhere. Probably Mizzou. All I know, is that when I went to chuck at the LoS, he was so fast that I completely whiffed when I was jut 1/2 yrd away.

My teammates kept sayin' "Dude, you got to stick tighter to that guy".. and I'm like "Dude, I can't even SEE that guy!!" Man he was fast. Reminded me for the 40,345th time why I'm not in the NFL.

I'm white, 5'11" and 192lbs...I can think of about 187198 reasons why I'm not in the NFL.

There are almost 1700 people in the NFL being number 53 isn't much of an insult

Clearly you're new here. Champ is as good as washed up and should retire yesterday.
