It should say "If you're new, pop in and say hello" instead of
"If your new, pop in and say hello"

There is one other error that I have seen before like this...I will try to find it.

The subtitles of the other thread, only about half have punctuation after them...it would be nice to see some consistency (either all no punctuation, or all have punctuation).

Sorry if I am being nit picky, but I want this site to looks its best.

The subtitle under the "Town Hall Discussion", it should say "...Tell us what we are doing well and what needs...", not "Tell us what we are doing good and what needs..."

Reminds me too much of when athletes say "He did good today". That drives me crazy.

Everything else looks good so far :D

(In this case I can use the word "good" since it is describing a noun. "Well" is used in cases where you are describing a verb, adjective, or other adverbs.)

I were in a birg hurree wen I typed those.

I'll change those tomorrow (actually, later today after some sleep). Go ahead and post in this thread anything else you find, and I will get them cleaned up.

 And all this time I thought Tned was perfect. I never bother looking for mistakes because Tned rarely makes mistakes. I still dont believe that he would do something like that. Why did you have to point out his mistakes Sneakers. :fight:

I am a grammar nerd! I can erase this thread (or have it erased) after he touches the site up a little...that way Tned's imperfection will be erased from history forever.

I think, sometimes, we all need to be reminded that tned is, after all, human.

I'm not a grammar expert but what is wrong with saying "he did good today"....??
Seems to me like, good=well, but like I said, I may have missed certain grammatical rules in school...

I agree Reid...he did good today sounds fine to me.Instead of he did
well today.

Sneakers....stop being so perfect.;)

Tned...I think you should leave it how it is!:D

Now that it's been 'brought to everyone's attention'....
I'll bet tned will change it, so he doesn't feel this 'nagging' feeling. :D

Glad to see more and more people are realizing it. :salute:

Tned was in a hurry and still did a great job fixing up the site.

I am a grammar nerd as well and can't stand when people misuse "good" and "well". There is a difference! :D

Saying, "They played good today" is grammatically incorrect.
You should say, "They played well today"!

I can't tell you why, that's just how it is! :D
