Red Miller.

A guy that is confident in himself enough to be arrogant is a B grade player.

What we needed were guys that were beyond that.

Why were we in the superbowl?

We did not have grade B guys, we had men that wanted more.

They pushed themselves, it was them.....not me.

But I loved every moment watching them.

A little context or reference would've been nice for those of us that aren't psychic

That and lot less alcohol by the opening poster, probably would have been a good thing.

B grade players. Can't win with em. Can't coach with em.

Something like that.

Quotation marks would have been nice.

I endorse this thread. I eagerly await the meaningful parallels between then and now, expressed in a symbolically artful way that will leave me ruminating on this thread each time I see a 2013 down.

Commence epic thread.

I understand what he was talking about and admire the mark Red Miller made on the Denver broncos back in 1977. After 10 years at around .500 ball we were going to the superbowl. Red Miller started a winning culture in 1977 we still enjoy today. And he could play a mean ragtime piano.

... even if it was the banjo, RED did bring a winning culture to our little "cow-town masquerade".
