Today's question about the Broncos comes from Leo Duke from Los Angeles. To submit a question for consideration, send an e-mail to The Denver Post's Jeff Legwold.

Q: Will the Broncos address (a need) at pass rusher in the first round? I think they could maybe use two high picks on defensive ends to slide (Derek) Wolfe into his natural interior position. Is that a possibility?

A: Leo, if the Broncos stick to their draft philosophy — take the best player available regardless of position and regardless of the team needs overall — they could certainly end up with two picks in this draft class who play in the defensive line.

Whether or not both of those players would be pass rushers remains to be seen, but the strength of this draft board overall is in both lines, offense and defense, and no other positions are really that close.

the stars really did seem to align for the Broncos. If you're going to lose your pro bowl DE this was the year to do it.

Probably had something to do with them asking him to take a pay cut. I'm sure the Broncos felt they could make it up, otherwise they would've overpaid Freeney or Abraham by now.
