INDIANAPOLIS — The Broncos have four restricted free agent players who must be tendered contracts by the March 12 opening of the 2013 league season.
The most significant RFA is punter Britton Colquitt. He would be in demand if he hit the market so don’t be surprised if the Broncos slap a second-round, $2.023 million salary tender on him.
The Broncos must also decide whether to give “original” round tenders to backup tailback Lance Ball and offensive tackle Chris Clark. The “original round” tender is $1.323 million which is a little rich for backup-type players.
