INDIANAPOLIS — For the Broncos, this year's NFL scouting combine is more therapeutic than "Stupid Human Trick."
True, watching offensive linemen do the standing broad jump is always good for a laugh. But seriously, and more somberly, the Broncos' first challenge as they prepare for the 2013 season is to get over their final game of the 2012 season.
The combine marks the first step to a new season. The Broncos need a new start. Anything to get beyond Joe Flacco's 70-yard touchdown pass that sailed beyond the mistimed leap of Broncos safety Rahim Moore and into the arms of Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones near the end of the fourth quarter of the Jan. 12 playoff game that Denver lost 38-35 in double overtime.
