Signs were there for the Broncos to raise ticket prices for a second consecutive season.
The Broncos and Metropolitan Football Stadium District announced in December they were investing more than $30 million for improvements to Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The team is about to invest $20 million a year, for the next two years, for the right to have Peyton Manning as its quarterback. The Broncos just had a 13-3 season that earned a No. 1 AFC playoff seed.
The secondary ticket market driven by brokers, scalpers and consumer demand has soared exponentially.
