John Fox and his staff will have some more familiar faces at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii this weekend. Zane Beadles and Demaryius Thomas have each been picked to the AFC squad.

Thomas replaces Wes Welker and Beadles replaces Logan Mankins. The Patriots players withdrew Monday due to injuries.

Thomas and Beadles join teammates Peyton Manning, Von Miller, Elvis Dumervil and Champ Bailey in the game. Left tackle Ryan Clady was chosen to start but will sit out because of a shoulder injury.

Too bad Harris didnt make it too.

I guess this game will be my last Broncos fix until next season.

nice job Thomas, Beadles was a bit of a shocker. But he is getting better.

Funny...I remember Beadles was largely considered a pushover on these boards once upon a time....

Good for them, but it does not replace the empty feeling I have.

The probowl needs to be AFTER the superbowl, at least I think so anyway.

Like it used to be until 2009 or whatever it was. It's bullshit that its between the CGs and the Super Bowl

Hilarious to see Beadles gets a PB bid when a bunch of fans here still think he's the weak link on our line. I think the end of the season showed that it was Walton that was the weak link and that Beadles looked a lot better when they upgraded the C spot.

Beadles, who allowed just one sack in 2012 and who played every snap this season, was a second-round pick in 2010.

Sacks are normally a bad statistic to measure guards by. The real measure of a guard is how well he performs in the run game. Is he a mouse or his he a mauler? When running to his side, how many yards does the RB gain? Is he getting push off the line? Fortunately, Peyton Manning is our quarterback so the "1 sack allowed" statistic becomes relevant and we can say he's above average. Beadles is good but he is by no means an elite guard. With that said, the entire unit did a great job this year.
