Mike McCoy was back in the Denver area this weekend tying up loose ends, watching his son Luke play two youth basketball games.

"Something I won't be able to do very often for a while here," McCoy said.

The Broncos' offensive coordinator the past four seasons, McCoy returned Sunday to San Diego where last week he was named head coach of the AFC West rival Chargers.

His family will stay behind in Colorado until the end of the school year while papa McCoy tries to fix a Chargers team that's been broke the past two seasons.

from article:

The bad Fox, the Broncos' head coach, has taken heavy criticism for the decision to "take a knee" with 31 seconds remaining in regulation and the scored tied 35-35, in the playoff game last Saturday that Baltimore eventually won in the second overtime.

"We made that decision as an organization," McCoy said. "That's not why we lost the game. We lost the game because we didn't make enough plays and the Ravens did. We didn't make enough plays as an offense. We didn't make enough plays on defense."

rather odd to have a divisional opponent comment on such a painful loss. I blame it on the coaches even more than the players.
