I don't get it. Maybe I'm not supposed to.

If Rahim Moore makes that play and we assume the Ravens don't score in the final 30 seconds from 70 yards away, isn't this Manning bashing a moot point?

I thought Manning played a good game. Not great, but certainly good enough and certainly not enough to blame him or say he choked.

The Ravens played 2 deep safeties ALL GAME!!! Their game plan was to give Manning the short to intermediate routes and then hope to stiffen in the red zone. They thought that if they could hold us to field goals it would give them their best chance to win. The Ravens offensive game plan was to go deep and try to win with big play TD's.

Ed Reed and Bernard Pollard were barely mentioned in the game, because they were playing 20-30 yards from the line of scrimmage!

Peyton Manning didn't choke... Peyton Manning didn't lose the game... Peyton Manning is being unfairly scrutinized because Rahim Moore and overall the defense shit the bed.

Everyone will always twist the argument to benefit their player or team. I have a friend that is a Giants fan that says Eli is better than Peyton because he has more rings. So I ask if Eli is better than Marino or as good as Elway and he cant say shit. Brady is a future HoFer that benefitted from being able to use his talent with great supporting casts. Peyton rarely had that. Elway rarely had that.

Peyton threw ONE bad pass Saturday. A pass he shouldnt have had to make

Peyton Manning is being unfairly scrutinized because Rahim Moore and overall the defense shit the bed.Although Rahim Moore f***ed up and allowed the TD, Peyton Manning did choke after that because he failed to lead the Broncos to victory during the overtimes and then threw the horrible pick that allowed the Ravens to lose.

Peyton threw ONE bad pass Saturday. A pass he shouldnt have had to makeThat may be true, but he also didn't make the plays he needed to make to win the game in overtime like super star QBs do in the playoffs. BTW, his pass wasn't bad, it was a HORRIBLE pass and decision.

Peyton Manning clearly is an Elite, super star QB during the regular season, but he is only an above-average to good QB during the playoffs.

Russell Wilson has Luck beat. Luck is a better prospect for the future, he could get hit in the knee and his career over next season. Then what?

My point was that you don't talk like coltsboy has about a guy who took your franchise out of the trash and made a name for Indy and then just shit on him as if all he did wasn't worth anything. No Peyton Manning, No Indy Colts for the past 15 years.

Then what?GEM, statistically Manning is much more likely to suffer an injury/career ending injury than Luck. Similarly, Russell Wilson and RG III are phenomenal QB prospects but they are also more likely to have their careers affected by serious injury than Luck due to their style of play that exposes them to a much higher risk of injury.;)

Statistics.....schmatistics. The point being that Luck is a prospect. Anything can happen. All can be for naught if Luck goes down or he continues with 25+ int's a year and no defense. Putting all your eggs in one basket while tearing down the guy who built your basket to begin with.

not withstanding the fact he had 7(?) QB comebacks this season also. :/

Luck, as a rookie, was basically playing with the remains of what was a 2-14 team the year before and this was Pagano's first year with a new defensive system. of course it was going to suck on D.

Completely. Nothing short of amazing what the rookies did this season at the QB position. I have a brother in law who is a Colts fan who has done this same stupid shit of tearing down Manning in order to bring up Luck. It pisses me off to no end. I want to slap him silly and remind him that he worshiped Manning's jock strap the last 15 years. I really hope you guys work on getting that guy a defense which is something that was completely ignored while Manning was there.

Will he be better than Manning, I don't know. But I am smart enough to know that without Manning, Indy is some bumpkin team lucky to hit 5 wins every season for the last 15 seasons. That shouldn't be disrespected, especially by a fan who knew how bad Indy sucked without him.

Now that Denver has lost a playoff game, you've all surged forward in gleeful schadenfreude to celebrate the temporary postponing of the inevitable - Denver success in the playoffs - because of the therapeutic effect it gives you to temporarily dull your pain from losing your old loved one and the inevitable rage and upset you'd feel to see the ex successful elsewhere even while you say, "We don't need them anyway" to save face when in reality you miss them.

I hate this matchup. I don't want either team to win. The only way I could ever root for either team in a game is if al-Qaeda joined the NFL next year.

AQ has been banned from the NFL. Turns out their definition of "throwing a bomb" and "sudden death" was different than the NFL's. They also wanted to replace the "Hail Mary" pass with the "Allahu Akbar" pass.

too bad he did not have a bad game against Balt. he was not amazing. The team fell apart. Defense barely showed up and offense was not amazing. No ground game, and passes were catchable but not caught. his pick 6 was off the hands of deck and popped in air. the other was in a tight window. Point is his play is better then what we had in last several years. Missing mcgahee hurt because moreno got hurt and ground game was not as good.

The pick 6 was defensive pass interference. The fumble wasn't a fumble, it was a tuck rule incomplete forward pass. Not counting the uncalled tripping against Thomas, and on and on.
