The day after the Broncos' chilling 38-35 double-overtime playoff loss to the Baltimore Ravens, they didn't hold a wake at Dove Valley. The players weren't dressed in black.
Rather, the mood inside the locker room Sunday afternoon was one of frustration, the kind of frustration that comes from allowing a golden chance to slip through your fingers.
"Any season that ends like this is tough," veteran cornerback Champ Bailey said. "It stinks, but we owe it to the fans and this city to try and get another one next year."
