While Peyton Manning may not yet have his game face on during a bye week, the intensity and focus for the playoffs were already evident when the Broncos quarterback spoke Wednesday to the media.
Manning, of course, is a good one to ask. With Indianapolis, he played in 19 postseason games, and he earned a Super Bowl championship ring following the 2006 season.
"You talk about the different (football) seasons," Manning said. "There's offseason, preseason, regular season, postseason. It's an elimination game (in the playoffs). I think there are certain regular-season games where you know, 'If we don't win this game, this could be it for us.'"
