I hate this. I really do. I loved him as a Red. He played every position they asked him to. If I had ever played baseball, I would want to be him.

This is just sad. I really wish I just hadn't known about this.

My regrets. I wonder if it was strictly about his baseball career or if there were other factors. A break up, perhaps? Lost all his money? Just speculating. I guess we'll hear more in the coming days.

I do know this. Christmastime is exceedingly depressing for some folks who lost loved ones. Offing yourself this close to Christmas only ensures that others will be heartbroken with sadness at a time that ought to be one of family and joy.
