Looks like we took the game against Oakland very serious with almost half of our starters in 100% of the time. Our quality of play seems to be so much better when these guys stay in the game. Cant wait for Woody, Kuper and McGahee to return.

DT would have been in more but I think he tweaked his ankle a bit and didnt return until the 2nd half.

Ayers is probably the biggest surprise for me on that list. I know he's missed at least a couple of games which skews his overall percentage but he's made the most of his reps, especially of late.

Also a bit surprised that Rahim the dream has seen more snaps than any other DB. I noticed vs SD a couple plays where SD had a tackle-eligible formation and the three DBs left on were Moore, Adams and Harris. Surprised they'd get the nod at the expense of Champ...

Note: don't bother making this post about me hating champ, tyia.

Bailey was taken out late against Oakland in the first game.

He and Doom - and even Miller have been taken out late in games that we've had "in hand". I noticed that they weren't in on the last drives of NO, Carolina, the 1st Oakland game, even the second SD game where they scored late, Doom and Champ didn't play on the drive before the onside kick. I think Fox/JDR are resting some of the veteran starters a little if the game is already in hand late. It's smart. I wouldn't want Von, Doom, or Champ to get injured during garbage time if we have a big lead. This is also why some of those late "garbage time" TDs have occurred - because the backups were in in some key positions or the starters were splitting snaps.

I knew Wolfe played a lot - but didn't realize it was that much. Pretty impressive for a rookie to be able to step into that starter role on the DL immediately, especially considering how well the defense has performed.

I had seen Lindsay or Mason tweet a couple weeks ago that he was second to only Doom on the life. I had the same reaction as you.

I agree with all assessments so far. A couple of things for me though.

Nate Irving: 2.09 %. I guess I was hoping a little more from him than that.

Quinton Carter : 1.70%. Not surprising to me. I think we played him Last yest year because we had to.

Didn't Carter go on IR after week 1 or 2? That's why his playing time is so low - he was playing STs predominantly and then went on IR. Kuper's time is low due to injury. Carter's in the same.

Ok, while I would like to claim credit for hours of stat compilations to come up with these, for those that aren't familiar with them, the weekly game release in the Media section of DenverBroncos.com which is aimed at prepping media covering the game, but is available for everyone has a ton of useful information. Along with playing time stats like I posted, it has sections listing any records/milestones players are likely to reach in the upcoming game, previous matchups of all Broncos against the opponents, records or other achievements Broncos have reached (or near reaching this year) and so much more. Each week it's a 300+ page PDF.

It has depth charts, rosters and everything that an announcer covering the game will need to have at his fingertips (flip cards at the end of the document) to make him sound like he thoroughly knows the teams.

The current game: http://media.denverbroncos.com/images/9008/Releases/121216_at_Bal.pdf

Where the Broncos post them each Tuesday (or so): http://media.denverbroncos.com/section_display.cfm?section_id=193
