Broncos get short break before getting down to the business of Ravens

After a hard-earned win on a short week, Broncos coach John Fox gave his players a three-day weekend.

And when they return Monday morning, he hopes they come back rested and ready for what awaits the following weekend.

"I know coming back after this little break we play a very good team in Baltimore," Fox said. "That will be a good measuring stick of where we are."

Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, who suffered a right shoulder injury in Thursday's game, underwent a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exam and will receive treatment in the coming days.

"He's being evaluated," Fox said. "It doesn't appear to be anything real serious. Hopefully, he'll be ready Monday when we reconvene."
