I mentioned the Woodyard part in the thread about his injury, but figured I would post this to give a more full update on him and Stokely.

On his weekly spot on Sirius, Fox said that Sunday Stokely was very close to going, so he should be good to go for Thursday's game.

On Woodyard, rather than his normal coy, competitive advantage "day to day" stuff, I was surprised (actually the candor on both him and Stokely) that he said that Woodyard was progressing well and he thought it would be close in terms of him playing on Thursday, but if he couldn't go, DJ and Trevathan would be ready to step in.

Woodyard didn't make trip to Oakland, ruled out.

Thanks for the update, Tned. As for the Raiders, McFadden is back and should play but Seymour is still out which is good for our offense. I think we win this one relatively easily unless we turn the ball over. I don't think the Raiders D can stop our offense consistently and I think our defense is firing on all cylinders so their O will struggle.
