On Monday, Head Coach John Fox updated the status of linebacker Wesley Woodyard, who left Sunday’s 31-23 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with an ankle injury.
Fox said he didn’t expect Woodyard to need long to recover.
“He has played really good football for us,” Fox said. “We’ll just evaluate. It’s an ankle sprain. It’s not anything serious as far as if it will require a lot of time. We’ll see how he feels tomorrow.”
Though the players did not practice on Monday, the team had to fill out an injury report since the team plays on Thursday. The report is based on projections of how much players would have practiced if there had been one.
