Von Miller named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Hard to believe but Von Miller had never previously won an AFC Defensive Player of the Week award this year.

He has now.

Miller received the honor this week because one, San Francisco’s Aldon Smith plays in the NFC, and two, the Broncos’ pass-rushing linebacker dominated the San Diego Chargers on Sunday with three sacks and two forced fumbles.

Well deserved and I wouldn't be surprised to see him destroy the Chiefs line this weekend. Regardless if he keeps it up he'll win a yearly award a well. DPOY.
