Not everything Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning said following his team’s 30-23 victory against the San Diego Chargers made today’s paper. Some overlooked gems:

He was asked if there was more happiness or frustrating after this win (offense often misfired, even if Broncos had their fifth consecutive 30-point game). Said Manning: “Happiness. We won didn’t we? Are you not happy? Strange question. Strange question.” (And with that I wanted to put my arm around DMac and say, “That’s all right, kid. I’ll ask an even stranger question in a few minutes.)

On Denver’s offense misfiring with some three-and-outs: “I guess it’s a good thing when a three-and-out is shocking to you all. It means we’re doing something well.” (Like scoring at least 30 points in five straight games).

Some of those reporters ask the stupidest questions.

I have especially loved the fact that Manning always lets them know when it is an idiotic question.

Cracks me up every time when they ask some retarded question and he lets them know that is exactly what it was :)
