Before you tell me this belongs in the "Other NFL Teams" forum, this is about
Peyton. When I read this headline in the "Broncos News Wire" forum, I
thought about how wonderfully fortunate we are to have him.

Yesterday, Peyton played his worst game of the season, except Atlanta (and
even then he played lights out the last three quarters). Yet he played a
better game yesterday than the any other Broncos quarterback's BEST
game, ever since You Know Who retired.

Many here weren't around when the Broncos mauled there way to the
Super Bowl in 1977 - or were too young to remember. But we old-timers had
to wait for 17 years for a Super Bowl trip. Now you know how we felt to see
our team rise, after these last five most recent years of bottom-feeding in
the league.

We now have the defense and special teams - and the supporting cast on
offense - to give other teams fits in any given game. But Peyton is who
causes us to have visions of the Super Bowl.

Thank you, John Elway. 1799

I would disagree that PM's game yesterday was better than any game by a Broncos QB since Elway retired. But still, it's nice to know that a average to poor game from Manning can still get us a win.

John Elway has saved our bacon yet again.

Im sure there is a QB that can play in AZ. For years before Brees came along we said the same thing about New Orleans. Just got to find "the" guy no matter the team.

Yes, perhaps that was overdoing it a bit. But I think we'd have to admit that
many other QBs wouldn't mind having a game such as that. The point being
how thrilling it is to have the likes of Peyton on our side . . .

Early in the year, I had AZ fans telling how Peyton was done and they were glad he didn't come to AZ.

Probably the same idiots who thought they were SB bound after the 4-0 start.

Yeah. They had some early success, but you could tell it wasn't really sustainable. Kind of like the Broncos over the last several years.

lifelong bronco fan here( as long as THEY have been alive) living in arizona.
yes, anyone can play QB in AZ, I get my try-out on wednesday.
they need to direct snap the ball to larry fitzgerald ! our QB situation is so pathetic, TEBOW would be an upgrade!

now to the important matter,
PFM he belongs to the broncos,
he is OUR QB.
how awesome is it going to be when PFM lifts the lombardi and says. this one's for JOHN !

I would think that anyone that has the skills to play quarterback would be able to perform in one state as well as any other

I remember seeing Tebow throwing the ball on the sideline yesterday. I wonder how many Teboi's were jizzing over themselves with the possibility of him coming in only to be left limp. lol

When I first read this, I thought you meant he was playing QB and throwing it to the sidelines.... still would have been correct!
