Pretty cool write-up by D-Mac of 104.3 "The Drive"
When you go through battle with a group of men, it bonds you forever. This was a historic win on so many levels for the Broncos; this team won’t ever be the same. Manning has gone from Mr. Manning to Peyton. He has evolved from elusive to inclusive. There had been a standoffish respect for Manning that probably has inhibited the other players from simply playing football and having fun. It’s as if the principal is in the classroom in every class. Wednesday, in their last practice before the players try to create “The Hangover 3: Bye Week”, Manning stood idly by as the underlings took all the snaps. He wasn’t domineering or intimidating, he was/is one of them. And they love it.
