Elvis Dumervil found himself in the middle of a swarm of reporters inside the cramped visitors locker room at Qualcomm Stadium late Monday night. Yet, even with a large bandage strapped across the bridge of his nose that protected a weeks-old cut, the Broncos' star defensive end couldn't stop grinning.

The Broncos historic second-half rally to overcome a 24-point deficit in a 35-24 victory over San Diego was everything Dumervil and his teammates had only envisioned when they took the field for the second half. For 30 minutes, the Broncos produced a relentless pass rush (including two sacks and forced fumbles by Dumervil), forced turnovers (including three interceptions between corners Tony Carter and Chris Harris) and created fireworks on offense, including touchdown passes from Peyton Manning to Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker and Brandon Stokley, in what tied the biggest come-from-behind-win in team history.

"That momentum shifted. All of a sudden, it just started coming in bunches, and that's when you start having fun," Dumervil said. "It was a fun night."

Intentionally committing so many turnovers he gave away a game he led 24-0 at the half would be no better than doing it accidentally.
