The Broncos returned to Denver early Tuesday morning after a raucous plane ride home from San Diego, players and coaches still exhilarated by Monday night's 35-24 win against the Chargers.
It wasn't so much that the Broncos were happy to have won, but that they won by scoring 35 unanswered points in the second half.
This, of course, after three earlier failed second-half comebacks in losses to Atlanta, Houston and New England.
