Both the "experts" in the press, and many on here, were talking about how Manning simply wasn't the same Manning:



Doesn't have the same arm strength...
Making bad decisions...
Can't throw to the right (resurfaced after the chatter in training camp)...
Was a waste of $96 million...


While there were a minority of people like Jaworski who pointed out how the three INTs in the Falcons' game weren't really on Manning, most didn't look that deep and wrote him off.

There is no question the Broncos have some work to do play well for 60 minutes and are digging themselves huge holes in the first halves, with conservative play calling, stalled drives, offensive turnovers, and lackluster defense, but I think it's clear to see that the reports of Manning's demise were VERY premature.
