that was a blackberry pie that he scarfed on thanksgiving! perhaps his greatest moment as a bronco !
I loved how he cared more about the pie than the interview !

I'm sure I'll catch a little grief for this one but Darcell McBath. I loved him in college and we gave up on him because of injury and now he's playing for the 9ers but I really think he had potential. He was better than Moore, that's for damn sure. Moore is a giy I wish they'd give up on but that's another thread I guess.

We didn't give up on Olsen, he chose the NFL over the AFL just like Butkus did when we drafted him. Come on Zam, you know this, man!

naturally, i'm glad we did-- but the obvious answer is clinton portis. . .

i mean, "great?" there aren't many serious answers to this question-- great players find a way to prove it. . . if they were given up on, they probably weren't great. . . portis truly could have been great here, playing the entire prime of his career in the ZBS. . . dude would have finished top ten or fifteen all time in rushing yards, and quite possibly put up good enough overall numbers for the hall of fame. . . he was on that kind of pace, and quite likely would have had fewer injuries overall, and another year or two of elite production, if gibbs hadn't tried to make him into john riggins and run the wheels off him. . . dude was an ideal fit for our scheme, and a huge gamebreaker. . . i'm convinced that his already very solid career would have been far better if we'd kept him here. . .
