In the days leading up to the Broncos' season opener Sunday night, folks around the NFL didn't really have questions about Peyton Manning's ability to play quarterback at age 36.
They didn't have questions about his ability to bounce back from four neck surgeries after seeing his work in the preseason.
They did have questions, however, about how quickly Manning would really get back to game speed after not playing since January of 2011.
