Pat Bowlen is 68, and though the Broncos' owner remains fit, trim and actively involved with the team, he no longer is out front.
He didn't invest a potential $96 million to get Peyton Manning with the idea of going another 14 years without a Super Bowl.
"I was tired of not playing in the Super Bowl," Bowlen said March 20, the day he signed Manning.

He might be tired but he better get used to it.
Skat Bowlen has sold our team down the river. Instead of building long term success he has used a revolving door policy to building this team. As a result we have been running in place for years. Cutler,Marshall,Royal,Loyd,Hillis,Tbow etc etc should all be on this team. But whenever we find long term solutions he ships them off and replaces them with short term solutions. Now mManning is the latest quick fix and next year we will yet again be looking for players at the exact same positions. Yet again.
Thanks to Skat Bowlen and his donkie riding partner John Elgay we will continue to be a failure year in and year out.
Thanks Skat.
Thanks Elgay

I don't understand how using those lame puns improves a post. Seriously, makes it seem like a really bad national lampoons film.
