This one is honestly pretty difficult to pick. But we're at home and Peyton Freaking Manning.

I think it's very realistic to expect us to win. Pitt is banged up on the o-line, won't have Clark and will have a rusty Wallace in his first game back, while we are coming in only minus one player (Kuper), are at home, and have Manning.

Sure we could lose, but I would say predicting it falls more on the pessimistic side than realistic.

I like your prediction best. I think Denver's defense is better than how it seems
to be viewed, and I personally don't think Pittsburgh, while still a good team, is
the monolith it has been. Ben's a good QB, but his OL is a shambles - not a
good situation for protecting against Denver's rush. Peyton is good, too, of
course, but with a much better OL, IMO.

I'll say 27-17 Denver, but I'll take even the one-point victory . . .

I am not sure why everyone has this as such a high scoring game. Sure last time the score was 30 to 23 or whatever, but that wont happen this time. The steel wont be in a cover zero again. We wont be able to run on them again. It is going to be a low scoring affair. One that we will come out on top of....The thing I am worried about is chris Rainey...If he plays he could torch us. We should be fine stopping the run otherwise.

Steelers still have a great defense. But they will have rusty wallas no mendenhall, no Clark. Polumalo will not be free lancing. I think manning passes for 1 TD and gets us 2 FGs. Big Ben will get 1 TD and will get 1 FG. Low scoring game.

He has no arm strength and can't throw the ball more than 20 yards, or to his right.
