Terrel Davis has no business on that list. He had two great years and one good year, that is not hall of fame worthy, or even of consideration.

Line up to take shots at me Bronco fans.

Neither does Eric Metcalf or 75% of everyone else on that list...but you don't see me taking a potshot at any of them. Have a little respect for Terrell Davis...he did break several playoff rushing records (of which some still stand) and he is one of a VERY select few players to rush for 2k yards in a season. He deserves at least some acknowledgement for his accomplishments.

Metcalf was an invaluable kickoff returner who was the all time leader in kickoff returns for a touchdown (till Brian Mitchell beat him out). Clay Matthews was a very good linebacker who played in the NFL for nearly 20 years. Matthews was absolutely amazing and deserves to be in the HOF.

Neither did Chad Johnson, but that didn't stop him from putting on a jacket and making a mockery of the induction ceremony.....*whistle* The only thing he's got so far that could put him there is for being the Hall of Fame Inductee for TD dances. :coffee:

You and I both know that had Davis been able to continue playing, he would be on that list without doubt. He broke records, he changed games, he would have continued doing so if a degenerative knee hadn't stopped him.

Darrell Green and Cris Carter will be very hard to not vote in in their first year of eligibility.

Ralph Wilson, George Young, Bob Kuechenberg, and Art Monk should have already been in a long time ago.

After that, it would be much tougher to be certain that someone is HOF worthy. All are varying degrees of 'debatable'.

Is CJ's name prematurely on the ballot? No, thank you come again.;)

Actually CJ is on a pace for a HOF career and has more then two great years and one good year to his credit.

I don't care what he COULD have done, I care what he did do. Bo Jackson COULD have done a ton of things, but he didn't now did he?

I do have some respect of Terrell Davis, I just don't have enough respect for him to think that he is a HOF player.

TD did enough at the running back position in his short years to be considered for the HOF....there are a ton of decent RB's who play for YEARS who will never even get a nomination. Says something.

So was Art Monk, but you don't see him there. If given the choice in today's WR class, CJ isn't even top 3. Sorry.

Moss, Owens, S. Smith.

I'd rather have a guy like CJ go in over a guy like Moss or Owens, but only because I don't like the characters of the latter two. As far as talent, I don't see it happening.
