I'm in a 6 way tie for 3rd place, although I am listed 1st amongst those 6). I'm 1 game out of 1st with 1 game to go, but have no chance at double digit wins. I doubt that zambini and weazel picked opposite of me for the Monday night game, so I guess I'll just have to settle for my less then 2nd place finish. As far as the season goes, I'm steadily climbing, and I'm now in 19th place.

In other news, congrats to NTL for needing only 3 weeks to win our Survival Football League. I guess I shouldn't have changed my pick to the Steelers. Oh wait, my original pick was the Saints. :tsk:

It seems like the weeks I try and go straight down with the favorites I get hosed. Those guys who advertise "Stone Cold Locks" and all that other crap are full of shit. I think really good picks would be around 65% right consistently.

With the bye weeks cutting into the number of games, averaging 10 correct games is easier said than done. Right now the leaders are averaging a little less than 10 a week.

I used to play fantasy football but it just became too time consuming, and I also hated having to cheer for my fantasy players when it could affect the outcome of a game I wanted to go the other way.

I never draft Raiders players on my teams, and I'm always willing to take a loss in fantasy football if it means that the Broncos win. I know it doesn't really matter what goes on in my leagues and who the Broncos play, it just feels bad if my ff team wins because of a Broncos failure.

I used to play fantasy football but it just became too time consuming, and I also hated having to cheer for my fantasy players when it could affect the outcome of a game I wanted to go the other way.

I have learned that individual players can have great statistical games and still be on the losing team. The only time it effects me like it does you is if it's a player playing against Denver. Of course, I won't root against the Broncos for the sake of fantasy football, but I secretly wish that said player can have a good game while Denver still wins.
