Two games in a row the first team offense and defense handed a lead to our backups only to lose. And Weber is mucho better than Hanie.

Oz looked nice...too bad drops and penalties kept him of the field.

I can't say I know of any team that would want to count on 22 back up to all take the field at the same time.

The one player that has stuck out in my mind as really struggling Adam Grant. It seems that in all three games that he has been in he's ended up with at least one holding penalty.

Weber is a developmental QB, but they already HAVE a developmental QB in Brock Osweiler.

It makes more sense to say that Weber outplayed Osweiler and should be the developmental guy, but Osweiler is Elway's pick. And he's going to be given 3 years to try and learn before they will ever admit they were wrong about him. Probably more than that.

Weber might make the practice squad, but it would be best for him if he went elsewhere. Fox does NOT want an inexperienced QB backing up Peyton Manning if he goes down for a couple of games. Hanie has experience in regular season games and even played when Cutler went down in the NFL Championship game and played reasonably well. Weber doesn't.

If he's lost for the season or something, the season is toast anyway. In that case it's Osweiler time.

Except that Weber did not outplay Osweiler...

Wilson>Luck> III>Tannehill>Foles>Osweilerat this point yes although I would argue that its impossible to give oz a fair evaluation when playing behind our wretched second string line.
