Sore ribs and all, two Broncos players were back on the field Thursday morning after a day off.
Wide receiver Andre Caldwell and linebacker Nate Irving, who both suffered rib injuries in Saturday's preseason game against Seattle, are back in full pads. Both players sat out of Tuesday's workout. Players were off Wednesday.
Caldwell's return helps a receiving corps still working on timing with new quarterback Peyton Manning. Caldwell is also in competition to be the team's kickoff returner.
