He also doesnt fit their scheme anymore as they go back to 4-3. Not saying I'd sign him, but there were probably multiple reasons Buffalo cut him

Yes, I think we are thin at LB especially at MLB. We may have bodies, but we are short on talent. We essentially have a ST player running our WLB and not even a ST player running our MLB with a ST player backing him up.

Merriman earned his nickname "Lights Out" at Frederick Douglass High School, where he knocked out 4 people in the first half of one game.

IN 2009 Merriman was arrested and charged with battery and false imprisonment. Merriman's former girlfriend, reality TV star Tila Tequila, claimed in an arrest complaint that he choked and restrained her when she tried to leave his home.The charges were dismissed less than a week later.
