Ok, this thread is for people that need tickets or have tickets. It is only to be used by forum members. If this thread gets abused or we start to see ticket brokers trying hijack it, then we will remove the thread.

I know there are some people that have tickets they are trying to sell, so we will see how this works.

Sorry mobgod, we have some people totally lacking in common sense and people skills. The mods should deal with them soon.

Obviously, the Ticketmaster ticket exchange and Stub Hub are two places to buy tickets. Also, it's possible someone with extra tickets will see this thread and PM you.

you can get tickets to any game in any city. I bought mine for in Denver, but I bought it from Canada. However, my ticket was 6 rows up on the 50 yard line Broncos side and it cost $500. So you will pay for it

Your hookup just sold them for the highest price. According to Joe Ellis, 2nd market sites are not much for the taking and season ticket holders are planning on going to the Bears game. Less Bears fans, more noise!

All the tickets are above face value. In fact, they won't even let season ticket holders post them for face value. The minimum price is something like 10% above face value, but the seller can set the price as high as he wants.

I think they do this to protect the single game tickets for all the NFL clubs that don't sell 95% of their tickets as season tickets every year. By not allowing season ticket holders to sell tickets at face value, then the club's left over tickets they are trying to sell will always be the cheapest.

They are also on stub hub. Denver tv stations have been showing the tickets online, some are $1600.00 ea. This really upsets me, as the stations have also talked to people who wanted tickets because they wanted to go to the game, but could not get any when they went on sale, and now there are many who got tickets just so they could make $$$$$$ on them. They had no intention of using them.

For those wanting tickets to a particular game, I would suggest calling the Broncos' ticket office. They are required to send so many tickets to the visiting teams, and if any of those are returned, the Broncos then sell them. They could give you the information as to when tickets need to be returned to them, the details how to buy, etc.

I actually was fine until Joe decided to be extremely "helpful" in his post. I am not sure what your definition of "combative" is but I am quite sure I was far from it. As I have stated, as these are half priced tickets, I can't sell them on eBay because I have nothing to sell. I have them up on CL already, and I figured a Denver forum would be another good media to try and push these tickets. As I am not trying to make any money, and am open to most trades, I am still failing to see why this is a big deal as I said it is a major upgrade for anyone with an extra ticket.

Yes I did. The thing is, when the tickets went on sale, the site was getting pummeled with traffic. I had 3 computers going in my work lab trying to snag a pair together, either full price or half price. After 20-30 minutes of timing out and no success a ticket finally popped up (104 at half price that I didn't want to pass up), so I bought it, and decided to buy the next one that popped up just to have 2 (316 at half price). I kept looking for a matching ticket in either section for a while longer until they all sold out with no luck.

So this is where I am now, a crappy situation but a workable one regardless. If I can trade these tickets for a pair awesome, if not, oh well. Maybe I can trade the 104 to whoever is sitting in my 316 area.

Maybe someone has a pair, but whoever they are going with pulls out at the last minute and now he is stuck with an extra ticket. Plenty of ways this could go down.

I mean the cheapest 104 ticket on Stubhub right now is 500$, which is like 4x what I paid for mine. I refuse to pay those inflated prices for anything less than a playoff ticket or a Superbowl ticket (which I did for SB 48, and I sold my 49 ticket for quite a bit).

So the option is out there for anyone looking for an upgrade.

Half Price tickets can only be claimed by the purchaser starting an hour and a half prior to kickoff at Gate 6 on the east side of the stadium.

So the person would have to walk in with me to get the tickets. This is pretty much the same method they use for the Super Bowl lottery winners. I won last year and this year. Last year, you couldn't get your ticket until day of the game at a specific gate.

There was no puffing of my chest - it was simply an observation. It confuses me that you'd buy two tickets that were in different sections while planning a trip to come to the game with someone. That's all. If you're honest with yourself, it was a "stupid" decision when there are so many other options available.

The other reason is you have only posted in this thread, trying to exchange your tickets - that are in different sections - for two together. It's kind of like a door-to-door salesman. We don't know you, and you've readily admitted you don't even have tickets in hand. Just seemed a bit strange to me. You're not the first nor the last to make a "hit and run spam post". Please note I'm not calling you a spammer - it just seemed like others that have shown up before.

I had 2 tickets a couple of years ago that were close but not together and I couldn't sell them as a pair....I could sell them separate and did but not as a pair....people just like to sit together and they were great seats. I've never bought half price tickets before....I've been lucky and have friends that take care of me. I thought that only the person that bought them could pick them up with a ID.... Hubby and I would just meet up at half time and eat or drink something together... Go to the tail gate, that's where the real fun is and just have a good time at the game and text each other.
