ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Disgruntled Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall missed the last hour of practice Sunday after pulling up with an apparent hamstring injury while running a deep sideline route.

He sat out the late afternoon session as well.

Free Draft Guide Marshall hobbled to the sideline mid-morning, tossed his helmet and dropped to the grass. He didn't return to action, staying on the sideline a few minutes before limping to the trainer's room.

Coach Josh McDaniels said after the morning practice that he wasn't sure how bad Marshall was hurt.

Marshall has had another drama-filled offseason, this time complaining about his contract and requesting a trade four months after appearing in his first Pro Bowl.

He has made several spectacular plays at camp so far, showing no ill effects from offseason hip surgery. Marshall is coming off his second straight 100-catch season.

"If I had a team, I would definitely want him on it," Broncos cornerback Andre' Goodman said. "He's a big guy that runs great routes. He's a competitor - any team wants a receiver like that. We want him healthy."

Report Abuse steeler6789 8/2/2009 8:31:37 PMBlodin is a number 2 reciever. his contract is very fair for a second round pick. With his selfish attitude he lucky he has not been cut. the tards have been trying to trade his uppity ass for two years but there are no takers.Do you really think harrison can run 99 yards faster than Antquan the blodin one?

Report Abuse DantesEye 8/2/2009 7:58:53 PMDont try comparing Marshell to Boldin. Boldin is head and shoulders better than Brandon ever will be. As for Boldin wanting more money, he has earned the money and deserves it. A team can cut any player at anytime with out paying them what is left in the contract, period. Do you really think that Fitz would have the impact he does without Boldin? I do not neither does Larry.

Report Abuse fwangrie3 8/2/2009 7:32:08 PMBad karma.......dont' be an angry dikk, and maybe bad things won't happen to you.

Report Abuse steeler6789 8/2/2009 7:26:43 PMBlodin has faked injuries to protest his contract, demands a trade, yells at coaches , quit on his team, spends more time at strip clubs than at the the team HQ. he is a number 2 pick, playing number 2 reciever wanting number 1 money. they are both the same.

Report Abuse calbronco 8/2/2009 7:17:34 PMHey steeler6789, how can you make such an ignorant comment comparing Marshall to Boldin. Marshall is a worthless, whining piece of garbage who's probably faking his injury or at least playing it up so he can continue getting paid. Boldin has always played hard and has the respect of his team. Marshall talks smack about Denver and should have had his sorry butt traded while he still had value. Thug? Marshall the woman beater-YES. Boldin-Don't think so.

Report Abuse raiderjeff1 8/2/2009 7:16:42 PMWell it's fun to see the Broncos continue their off season implosion. This underscores the fact that the Broncos are done. They will be chasing the Chargers and Raiders (and probably Chiefs) in the AFC west. As a Raider fan I applaud the Broncos new coaching staff for the fine job they are doing. Go Raiders!

Report Abuse BigBean_Leadfootburgh 8/2/2009 7:12:56 PMTrue they don't let criminals into canada, it would dilute the cowardice.

Report Abuse dadio63 8/2/2009 6:28:27 PMmaybe the Broncos should trade him for a box of footballs ! Team probably could use something that will actually help the team. Good thing he didn't get a new contract. Or maybe he DOES deserve a new contract. A lower wage for not doing his job .

Report Abuse Popster 8/2/2009 6:07:26 PMEven better, maybe, the Broncos should trade him to the CFL that way the problem is even out of country.

Report Abuse Popster 8/2/2009 6:05:36 PMpppooolll - I'm with you!!!

Let the snot-nose wuss try his hand at work in the real world. I'm sooooooo sick and tired of these professional brats wanting to re-negotiate their contracts upward. Are they EVER willing to re-negotiate downward when they don't perform?

Let this t--u--r--d sit on the sidelines for 6 weeks with that hamstring and then let's see his value. He's quickly developing a rep as an injury prone problem instead of an asset.

Report Abuse jeff62aps 8/2/2009 5:46:32 PMThere is an old saying that goes like this. It is said to be better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid, than to say something and remove all doubt.

Report Abuse hrbib21 8/2/2009 5:27:26 PMI'll take him any day. Make him an Eagle. Who would want to play in Denver now anyway? Dumbest ownership on earth, trading away one of the best QB's in the business. Good luck with Orton, he's a real Pro Bowler, lol!

Report Abuse pppooolll 8/2/2009 5:06:11 PMAnother overpaid crybaby bully. Perhaps he can take his ball, pick up his cleats, and see how the economy treats him in whatever is his "next-most" markertable skill - perhaps lawn mowing?

Report Abuse steeler6789 8/2/2009 4:54:35 PMThat is a trade that will never be made. trade him for Antquan one thug malcontent for another.

Report Abuse Iggynigma 8/2/2009 4:03:47 PMtrade him for Urlacker

Report Abuse anvil30 8/2/2009 3:59:08 PMHe won't be disgruntled on his own time..Fact is somebody will pick him up and he'll be happy

Report Abuse Broncosman 8/2/2009 3:58:18 PMB Marshall must have hurt himself chasing down another woman to beat. Get the H$%# out of here, you cancer!

Broncos win West Division in 2009. . .

Report Abuse jeeperscreepers987097 8/2/2009 3:52:48 PMWithout Bill Belichek these coaches are nothing but "ham & eggers." All his underlings turned out to be bums and losers.
Josh McDaniels owes everrything to Bill Belichek. He has already destroyed this team with QB controversy.
Charlie Weiss~about to be fired by N.D. Has accomplished nothing so far at N.D. One of the elite universities in the country.
Romeo Crennel~All those first round draft picks and nothing to show for them. Was an underachiever in Cleveland.
Eric "The Rat" Mangini ~Has already been fired from his first head coaching job. His friendship with the Cleveland Browns owner got him a second chance at coaching. Who in their right mind would wa nt to play for a RAT!

Report Abuse steeler6789 8/2/2009 3:41:16 PMJust cut him. let him be disgruntled on his own time.
