Here is a summary of coach McDaniels comments to the press following the Sunday's morning practice at Dove Valley.
Status of Jarvis Moss:
Will respect his privacy. Move forward one way or another.
On Marshall leaving the field with an apparent injury:
Doesn't know what is wrong with Marshall and "wouldn't tell you if I did", but then laughed. Doesn't know what the actual injury is or what the extent of the injury is.
On the transition of the DE's to outside Linebacker:
They're doing little things better each day, but still areas that they need to improve. Some plays where they are physical, but not technically sound. They are playing hard and trying to learn and are making strides.
Tim Crowder:
No better or worse than others. He is big and thick and can drop into coverage. They are still evaluating whether he can play on the edge.
Alphonso Smith:
Made rookie mistakes, but making plays on the ball. In decent condition. Competing everyday. Always around the ball, making plays.
Nic Clemons injury:
Won't be out here for the next few days, but it's nothing serious.
