Yep, definitely the good ol' days. But just to show i dont totally hate Plummer there is one thing that i did enjoy from him and that was his bootlegs against the most gullable of teams. lol

I had two plays in mind before I clicked, this was one of them. As much hype as "our system" got, a true stud at RB made all the difference.

/a Bill Walsh flat pass was the other
//More of a SF play but we used it a lot in the "good old days"

Watching that, the only thing I could think of was how underrated good ol Mark Schlereth (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gs290b0AvxM) was. But not as an actor

Yeah, amazingly TD was only around 210 lbs but ran with more heft than youd think for someone that size. The guy was really sturdy.

As I look at Moreno clips, this is one difference I notice. Davis was a stronger and a more decisive runner, although I think Turner will make Moreno more decisive.

Plummer killed when it came to the bootlegs and throwing it straight down the field for a big gain.

Ill always remember this chief fan on the mane who said in 05' that KC had finally figured out the Bronco's and their "bootlegs". Then like clockwork in the first meeting Plummer does a bootleg and totally fools their Dline YET again. Not once, not twice, but forever.

Yeah dude, the Broncos fans always knew when the bootleg was coming. I'm willing to bet the coaches of the other team always knew too, but every damn time there was some pwnage going on.

but I swear, KC always fell for it more than anyone else.

Does nobody have the play against the Chiefs where Plummer lined up at wideout?

That's one of my alltime favorites, but I can't find it.

Well, if you mention fooling the Chiefs... it's the first thing in my mind. I'm still laughing about it. :D

The funny thing about the naked bootleg was that the chiefs were fooled every time. Everyone in the league knew we were going to run it after a while, but the chiefs looked totally shocked every time. Year after year. Good times.

Nope. Truth be told: I won't know what to expect now. I have trained myself to be such a Shanahan/kubiak fan. I would call a play that I wanted all the time, and get it more often than not. This year will be a huge adjustment for me.

Yeah, i'm gonna miss the badass bootlegs and awesome passing game. But oh well, I say if McDaniels doesn't succeed we hire Shanny back and at least have some entertainment in a passing attack while we lose, ha.
