Broncos' Franklin could move to guard, regardless of Kuper's availability
By Jeff Legwold, The Denver Post

Q: If Chris Kuper can't play because of his injury, could the Broncos move right tackle Orlando Franklin to right guard and use Ryan Harris at right tackle?

A: Kuper suffered a gruesome ankle injury in the Broncos' regular-season finale last year. His participation in training camp will be limited, but the Broncos expect him to be ready for the season opener Sept. 9 against the Steelers.

The Broncos have kicked around the idea of moving Franklin to guard because he's a powerful force in the running game and has struggled in pass protection. Moving him inside would take advantage of what he does best and limit his exposure to one-on-one pass protection situations against more athletic defensive ends.

Edit: my apologies, article was older than I thought and headlined differently...
