MIAMI -- Ray Allen will take less money for a chance at another NBA championship.

Allen told the Miami Heat on Friday night that he intends to accept their contract offer and leave Boston after five seasons, even though the Celtics could pay him about twice as much as the reigning NBA champions will be able to next season. Miami could only offer Allen the mini mid-level, worth about $3 million a year.

I hate the Heat. It will suck in the worst way if they repeat. Maybe Allen will mess up their chemistry LOL

Nash with the Lakers pisses me off more.

NBA sucks in general--case in point.

I don't think he dissed anyone.....but if you want to be considered more mature than the very person you are complaining about, I think its time for some of you to move on rather than hold some silly grudge like a 13 yr old teenage girl.

Completely agree. This happens aaaaallllllll the time in sports. But since LeBron did it on TV everyone decided to get butthurt about it. It's pathetic how many people still hold a grudge against him. And it looks even worse now that he's won a title and stayed completely classy about it.

I still think he could have handled it much better than he did.
