As Eddie Mac said - everyone should be able to play football, and this is what Dare to Play is all about. And football games should have fans. Everything, including the food is free.

Event will be held at Valor Christian High School, 3775 E. Grace Blvd., Highlands Ranch. The flyer shows everything the event will include.

Just wanted to post this for everyone in the Denver metro area to see.

HIGHLANDS RANCH — He has played football for most of his life, but there's more about life than football for Brian Dawkins.

His numbers in helping to revolutionize the safety position were impressive: 13 years as a Philadelphia Eagle and the past three as a Bronco; nine Pro Bowls; six times as an All Pro; one Super Bowl appearance; 624 total tackles; 26 sacks; 98 passes defended; 37 interceptions; and 28 fumbles forced.

If Dawkins has his way, his efforts as a man will have better totals.

On Saturday, he joined former Bronco Ed McCaffrey and defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio in the Dare to Play Football Camp for individuals with Down Syndrome at Valor Christian High School.
