In NFL Network’s annual Top 100 poll asking players to rank their peers, Peyton Manning’s place on this year’s list was a big question: Would the players say Manning should be healthy and as good as ever and therefore at or near the top of the Top 100? Or would they say he didn’t play at all in 2011 and therefore doesn’t belong on the list at all?

As it turned out, the players split the difference

This makes perfect sense to me. You have to consider that the players didn't rank players 1-100, they were given a ballot and were told to rank their top 20 regardless of position. Which makes the Tebow ranking absolutely and totally absurd.......

Tebow might not be #1 on the field, but he'll always be #1 in our hearts.

That Tebow made that list proves its a joke. :coffee:

I don't know how you rate Manning right now. Is he the QB he was in 2010 when he had a 66% completion percentage, 33 TDs and 4700 yards passing?

If so, then he's in the top ten and maybe even top 5 in the NFL.

If not, he's probably not in the top 100.

Multiple reports claim Manning's velocity has returned, although we won't get a clear picture until preseason rolls around. OC Mike McCoy has indicated that his terminology will remain, while Manning has "bought in" to a drastically revised Broncos offense that has old Indianapolis elements.

Ravage!!!

Wait.... so if he's not having the most prolific season of his NFL career, then he's not a top 100 player???

If Jonathan Vilma can make that list why not put Manning in it? It's a stupid list that was voted on by stupid people. Peyton Manning is so good that he can not play and suddenly you have the worst team in football.
