For any of you who have seen "The King of Kong", Steve Weibe is back to break the World Record Live at E3. He just finished one attempt today with a amazing score of 900,000+ and will try again later today or tomorrow. Here is the channel they broadcast it from:

Yeah. He has two more tries to break it live. I have it on in the background on my laptop as I work. Its pretty mesmerizing. Looks like the next attempt is tomorrow 1pm EST.

He was doing good on the attempt before this and the game board crashed. It was weird.
