Chris Simms worked extensively today with the No. 1 offense at the Broncos' passing camp. But don't read too much into it. Simms and Kyle Orton figure to get long looks into the preseason before any decision is made about the starter.
"Same thing," said Broncos coach Josh McDaniels, when asked if there were any new developments at the position. "Both of them will take reps with the 1's, and we're going to keep doing that until it becomes clear and apparent, and it's not yet. They're both doing some good things, and they're both making some mistakes."
So are they learning at a good pace, Coach J-Mac?
"They don't have a choice."
