Hey guys just wondering. I haven't heard anything about us signing draft picks to contracts...have we??

i THINk maybe we did one of the ufdas but I dont remember...Probably wont worry about that for another 3-4 weeks but then it will go quick especially since they are slotted now.

It's the annual summer project that usually gets resolved days before training camp. It mostly hinges upon the first round draft picks trying to eek out just a little more by waiting for lower draft selections to sign their contracts.

Six first-round draft picks have signed or agreed in principle on contracts already. Things are moving quicker with the new slotting. There shouldn't be any last minute hold outs this year.

actually, PFT has reported that multiple teams have ALL of their draft picks signed already. . . we seem to be taking our time, but it doesn't matter one way or the other. . .

Forgot the new CBA would change things around on this score. Looks like Elway's staff have bigger concerns right now.
