Pretty simple, what you think are great movie scenes. Try to put the movie title first so people can tell if it's a movie they've seen or not.

Lawrence of Arabia,

The scene (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvBcl40QOhQ) at the well. Maybe it's cause I watched it on a big screen, but this scene was really chilling. Lawrence of Arabia was known for its cinematography and there's a lot of it here. You also can see how mythologies like people walking on water came about as the figure appears to merely glide over the bright blue.

Dr. Strangelove,

One of my favorite movies ever with my favorite ending (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxrWz9XVvls) ever. Movie is just chockfull of hilarious stuff literally right up to the end. The way Strangelove elaborates on his master plan gets me every time, but the pinnacle of the movie is its nearly instant combination of hilarity and morbidity.

There Will Be Blood,

Two scenes, actually. The first (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwkP7Gnp7ek) when Eli humiliates Daniel in the church. The second (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FnB7nQulBs) is when Daniel returns the favor. Damn good movie.

Last of the Mohicans.

After Colonel Munroe has surrendered to the French he and his men are allowed to leave the fort even with their weapons. An amazingly generous move by the French commander. This angers the Indian allies of the French.

As the column advances through a clearing the Indians lie in wait in the woods. When the moment of attack comes one lone Indian runs from hiding in the woods and clobbers one of the soldiers over the head with his tomahawk.

Then all Hell starts breaking loose, and a battle ensues showing the huge differences between the British military training and the Indian guerrilla tactics.

Beautifully shot, with a ton of action, and of course an opportunity for the hero Hawkeye to save the damsel in distress, while at the same time we see the Colonel Munroe butchered by Magua the Indian leader, who cuts out his heart and holds it before Munroe as he dies.

A lot more goes on in this scene than I can even describe, but to me one of the most engaging, exciting, visceral scenes in any movie I've ever seen.

If you haven't seen "Last of the Mohicans" go get it/rent it. The movie is brilliantly done, with many other brilliant scenes almost as good as this one. . .. although it completely disrupts the time-line of the original book by James Fennimore Cooper, it is a great adaptation to the big screen.

Man, so many.

Gladiator

When Maximus reveals himself to the King after the battle of Carthage. (hope i spelled and got that right)

Brotherhood of the Wolf

The final ending sequence when Fronsac comes back from the dead (fake death) to finally expose the secret society of extreme religious fanatics who were using a mysterious beast to attack female whores to rid their society of those who were not of the faith.

I have those two for now and will think of more later.

One of the finest movies, if not the finest movie, I have seen from an acting
standpoint, with Richard Burton and Peter O'Toole in the leading roles.

It's still available on Amazon and NetFlix.

For some reason I have always liked the scene in Jurassic Park where Jeff Goldblum says something along the line of "you were so busy figuring out if you could do it, you never stopped to ask whether you should do it."

That isn't quite an exact quote, but I've always liked it mostly because in business I often see people/departments fall into that same mode of focusing on whether they can do something before deciding if they should (as in will the market support a product, etc.).

I couldn't find the whole scene. The part where she's a "hostile witness" is the best but here's the rest:

This part made me laugh pretty good though:
