Last night, on the local newscast on ch4, Jodi Brooks talked about this. This is real, and is listed on the FBI site. Here is link, telling all about it, and what you can do.

I've heard about this elsewhere but I would rather find out the hard way than let the government possibly tamper with my computer. I don't trust them, particularly the bunch running the government now.

Which is the same site the FBI send you to. But if you keep your IA suite and tools up to date you should be fine.
