Go Broncos!

Who do you think (or what position) the broncos will draft in the first round?

EDIT: FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO JUMP AHEAD IN THIS THREAD (HEY THAT RHYMED!):

I won't be surprised by anything this year.

And nothing will really upset me unless it's a TE. That's about the only position I'd be baffled by.

just saw ESPN's BW post his mock

1 25 Michael Brockers DT LSU
2 57 Lamar Miller RB Miami
3 87 Brock Osweiler QB Arizona State
4 108 Casey Hayward CB Vanderbilt
4 120 Tommy Streeter WR Miami
5 137 Christian Tupou DT USC
6 188 Levy Adcock OT Oklahoma State

I do not mind this. But I see it as unrealistic. I think his 2 prospects at #2 and #3 will be gone by then.

For me it is TE and a every early WR. With the presence of DT and Decker

Some combination of DT and RB the first two rounds is my best guess. I don't think they reach for a QB until the third day.

I honestly think we trade back or take Brockers/Worthy. I also would not be surprised to see Doug Martin as that impact player Elway mentioned they will be looking for and getting Reyes/Thomas in 2nd.

Denver Native (Carol)

As a hall-of-fame quarterback, John Elway was remarkably predictable in the 2-minute drill — because, of course, he was almost always successful.

However, as a Broncos executive he wants to keep other teams guessing regarding Denver's draft strategy, including tonight's prime-time first round (6 p.m., ESPN and NFLN).

"That's why I don't want to talk about our needs," Elway told reporters earlier this week.

I think they had to do it Mo. To many teams were looking to trade up with the Vikes for Richardson. They wanted him and did what they had to do to firm it up.

Apparently, they still have 10 picks, and they still have the 22. Maybe they weren't enamored with anyone there and will look to acquire some more picks that way. When you have three picks in top 40 you can make some moves and still get three or four starters out of the deal.

Well yeah...they gotta hold up a jersey n take pictures with Goodell.
Growing up I always thought that that would be the most awesome thing ever...now I'm a father, so now I'd much rather see one/both of my sons do it far more than I ever wanted it for me.

Actually there is some chatter that Cleveland might be looking to trade up with Denver for Weeden, but I suppose they could be wrong and it's for an offensive tackle, especially with Glenn, Martin and maybe Adams being possibly available in that area.

His combine numbers were off the charts. 4.5 speed (unofficial 4.4 speed) 6.7 3 cone (though not as fast as Tebow 6.66)

Von Miller moved up the draft too (although it happened alot earlier in the process) because of his 4.46 speed last year.
