View Full Version : went to game..and WOW what a game..we showed up

the broncos played there heart out last night..
I went to the game then drove home 8 hours after the game and was thrilled all the way home about the way theyed played...I give them a ''b'' for the way they played everything went right except for the running game..

Wow, an 8 hour drive home after the game. Great game to watch!

It was against the Steelers D which isn't the easiest to run against. Kuper played his first game, and Myers played his first at C.

Actually, I was pleased with the runnning game. As Stargazer implied, the
Steelers are extremely tough against the run, and Henry really bulldozed for
a lot of his yardage. His 51 yards would have been 151 against a "normal" team.

I heard this morning on AM950 that the Steelers had the #1 defense going into yesterday's game. Not sure if that statement is true, or not.

They were number one in yards given up, points given up and third downs given up.

Not sure if they are still in front of those categories.

And keep in mind Henry could have had a 100 yard game if he didn't leave in the 3rd.
