copy and paste usually. doesn't work all the time though

All of the gifs I save I get from the reddit pics app on my phone. Then I copied them to my laptop. Now they're saved as .mov instead of .gif. Dang.

I think you are making things complicated. What is it exactly that you are trying to do?

It's not that. It's just that all of the gifs I have saved, saved as .mov (a movie file) instead of an actual .gif file.

When you save a gif on your iPhone from a website, it saves it as an image with no movement in it. But the gifs on the reddit app save on an iPhone as a .mov file so you can watch them. That's all. I just have to get my gifs online from reddit. They're already uploaded through imgur anyway. Problem solved.
