I love this pick.

He caught no less than 4 balls in every game he played in his junior and senior year...missed four games in four years (three last year).

I like it. I was high on Quan Cosby round 5, but I'm hardly gonna complain about same position, different name.

So is he a slot receiver in the NFL then? I assume this pick was in anticipation of Stokes hanging the cleats up soon. Also, does he have any return ability...can he contribute on special teams in his rookie season.

Returned punts his freshmen and sophomore years, but stopped when he became a bigger part of the offense and Spurrier brought in Captain Munnerlyn and Chris Culliver.

McKinley busts his ass for everything. I wish he was a little stronger, but as a slot receiver it's not critical. He's got a little Rod Smith in him - love the kid. I don't have to worry about him failing because he wasn't trying hard enough. He'll give it his all.

Totally fine with that pick, and yeah, it should be a shot at replacing Stokley. He catches everything and is always open somehow. And he doesn't fumble, so that's nice. McKinley should make the team no problem. I'll be shocked if he doesn't.

First pick in a while I can totally get behind for need, draft position, and talent. ;)

Look like Peyton Hillis college receiving stats.

Not bad when you have 2, sometimes 3 defenders on your azz at all times.

Well, the impressive part, imo, is his production when South Carolina can't find a quarterback.

Thanks. Forgot that part.

Not bad when you have 2, sometimes 3 defenders on your azz at all times, and QB's that can't get the ball down field.

Blake Mitchell would kick both your butts in a bar in downtown Columbia at 2am to defend that statement.

Blake Mitchell was an amazing QB on 50% of his throws.

He probably would. He should put more time into hitting his wideouts. If he did, Steve Spurrier could make him a lot of money.
